Rates & Services

Tracking

I offer full-band and individual tracking services in the live room of the studio. I charge per hour of tracking to keep the project on track. My standard rate is $20 per hour whether it is with a full band or with an individual.

You have access to all equipment available at the studio during tracking and can bring your own as well. Of course, we will discuss the details of your session beforehand to work out any kinks.

Mixing

My standard rate for mixing is $75 per song. Each major revision after that is an additional $25 (small revisions are included).

If you have a larger project, we can discuss the details and come up with a specific quote.

Each mix includes an uncompressed 24-bit 48khz wav file of the final mix. I also will include a simple master version of the mix for listening with home audio equipment. I will provide an uncompressed 24-bit 48khz wav file and a compressed 24-bit 44.1khz mp3 file of the master.

Mastering

I don’t currently offer mastering. I do include a simple master with every mix so that they can be listened to properly on mobile devices and basic audio gear, but this only involves light compression and limiting.

If you plan on distributing your music after getting your final mix, there are a number of mastering engineers within Pensacola that I can recommend.

Voiceover Recording & Processing

With the help of some clever sound dampening and a solid microphone, I can help you get a clean, direct voice to add to your video project. Whether you’re making a full-length documentary, selling your product & services on a high-quality commercial, creating a ground-breaking video game, or nearly anything else, I can deliver great results with the right voice talent. Add a touch of equalization and compression and proper limiting and you should be able to import the end result into your project with minimal headache.

Reproduction

If you need great care taken to the final physical copies of your album, I can help you out. I specialize in cassette tape and compact disk duplication. (Sorry, no vinyl.)

When working with cassettes, I utilize analog outboard processors to get as close as possible to the desired sound in order to make master tapes. After that, direct duplications will be made from the masters to produce your final physical copies for distribution.

For compact disk duplication, I can help limit and dither the provided uncompressed wav master files for 16 bit, 44.1 kHz if needed. Other than that, the duplication process is simple and most work will be focused on the packaging.

Depending on the size and scope of the reproduction job, I will need to quote for your exact needs. All materials can either be provided or sourced and included in the quote.
